The army of Israel was afraid. A giant named Goliath stood on the hillside, shouting insults about God. No one wanted to fight him.
Then David came. He was young. He was small. But he knew something the soldiers had forgotten: the battle belongs to the Lord.
With five smooth stones and a sling, David faced the giant. And God gave the victory.
