Long ago, Jesus told a story about a shepherd who loved his sheep.
He knew each one by name. He led them to soft grass and clear water. If one little lamb got lost, he would leave the ninety-nine and go find that one.
Jesus said, ‘I am the Good Shepherd.’ That means Jesus loves each of us just like that shepherd loved his sheep. He knows our name. He never forgets us. And He is happy when we come near.
What we learn
Jesus loves you, knows you, and always comes looking for you. You are never lost to Him.
