No. Salvation is God's gift, received by faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8–9). Good works are the fruit of salvation, not the price of it. We are saved for good works, not by them.
Every religion assumes some kind of merit system: do enough, be enough, and be accepted. Christianity turns this on its head. In Christ, God has already provided everything needed for our salvation. Trying to earn what has been freely given is not humility; it is refusal.
